Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to JC Trust and all associated trading entities (“JC Trust”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By making a booking directly with JC Trust or via a third party, you (“the guest”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including any updates notified to you. Where bookings are made through a third party, their terms and conditions will also apply.
All accommodation is subject to availability.
Bookings & Rates
- All rates are quoted per property, per night unless otherwise specified.
- Bookings are confirmed for the number of guests stated at the time of reservation.
- If the number of guests (including infants) exceeds the confirmed booking, JC Trust reserves the right to:
- Charge additional fees; or
- Cancel the booking at its discretion.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: From 2pm for all properties, and between 2pm – 7pm for Sea Stack Bicheno. Outside of these hours by arrangement.
- Check-out: By 10am on the day of departure
Guest Responsibilities
During your stay, guests agree to:
- Respect the property, its surroundings, and other guests
- Report any damage, breakage, or maintenance issues promptly
- Leave the property in a reasonable condition upon departure
Additional charges may apply for:
- Damage beyond normal wear and tear
- Excessive cleaning requirements
- Lost keys
JC Trust reserves the right to:
Property Use & Restrictions
- JC Trust reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any guest or visitor who fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- The use of drones on JC Trust properties is strictly prohibited without prior written approval.
Code of Conduct
Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner at all times.
The following behaviours constitute a breach of this Code:
- Abusive, aggressive, or threatening behaviour towards staff, guests, wildlife, or others
- Excessive noise or disturbance
- Intoxication resulting in disruptive or inappropriate behaviour
- Wilful damage or destruction of property
- Smoking inside any accommodation or buildings
- Overcrowding or unauthorised guests
- Possession or use of illegal substances or materials
- Assault or harassment of any kind
- Failure to follow reasonable directions from management
Eviction & Cancellation by JC Trust
JC Trust reserves the right to:
- Cancel a booking; and/or
- Require guests and their visitors to vacate the property immediately
where a breach of these Terms & Conditions or the Code of Conduct occurs.
Guests removed from the property may:
- Forfeit all or part of their booking (refunds are at JC Trust’s discretion)
- Be prohibited from future stays across all JC Trust properties
Pet Policy
We have one Accessible unit at Sea Stacks Bicheno that is available for people who have assistance dogs. No other property will allow pets.
Dog needs to have the appropriate credentials and training from Assistance Dogs Australia and guests will need to advise us in advance that they will be bringing their assistance dogs and provide the certification.
Payment Policy
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and debit cards.
- By providing payment details, guests confirm they are authorised to use the nominated card.
- JC Trust reserves the right to charge the provided card in accordance with the booking and cancellation policy, including within 7 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Bookings
- 7 days or more prior to arrival: Full refund
- 6 to 2 days prior to arrival: Charge equivalent to one night per room
- Within 24 hours of arrival: Non-refundable
- No-shows or unused services: Non-refundable
Peak Season (December – February)
Excludes 20 December – 10 January
- 30 days or more prior to arrival: Full refund
- 29 to 14 days prior to arrival: Charge equivalent to one night per room
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Non-refundable
Christmas & New Year Period (20 December – 10 January)
- All bookings are non-refundable
General
- JC Trust reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- Any exceptions to these terms must be agreed to in writing.
