We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for guests of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Kindness, respect and consideration for others are at the heart of the Sea Stacks Tasmania experience. Our team is trained in accessibility awareness and recognises that every guest has unique needs. Before arrival, we connect with guests to discuss accessibility requirements, understand individual preferences, and ensure we provide the best possible support throughout their stay.
At Sea Stacks Bicheno, we offer two beautifully designed studio-style accessible Stacks. Thoughtfully created in consultation with accessibility specialists, these spaces cater to a variety of needs - including mobility, vision and general accessibility requirements - while maintaining the calm, design-focused atmosphere Sea Stacks is known for.
The single-level layout allows ease of movement throughout the living, dining, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom areas. Features include:
- Entry ramp access
- Wider doorways
- Electric sliding balcony doors
- Split king single high-low adjustable beds
- A fully equipped kitchen with user-friendly appliances and a motorised stone bench
- An open roll-in shower with removable showerhead, bench seat and optional support rails
Each private deck provides a peaceful setting to enjoy a sunrise, ocean air or a relaxed BBQ experience, combining accessibility with comfort.
One accessible Stack is available to accommodate assistance dogs.
Located directly above the accessible Stacks, we also offer a studio-style Stack suitable for a carer or support person wishing to stay in close proximity.
Guests are welcomed via our reception space, designed as an open, free-flowing environment with step-free access for ease of movement and comfort.
Additional accessibility features across the property include:
- Two designated accessible car parks with individual EV charging facilities
- Accessible storage units suitable for larger equipment
- Well-lit boardwalks with bump guards and smooth transitions onto compact gravel pathways
- Access to sauna facilities and a communal fire pit
- Additional accessibility equipment available on request
At Sea Stacks Bicheno, we have a curated collection of exclusive guest experiences designed to elevate each stay. The majority of these experiences support guests with accessibility needs. As a nature-based coastal destination, some experiences may still present limitations due to terrain, pathways or physical requirements. However, we will always work closely with guests wherever possible to tailor experiences to their individual needs.
